HUNGERFORD Town took a place in the early season Southern League Premier Division play-off spots after Tuesday night’s 4-0 home win over Banbury United.
Three-up at the break through Matt Day, Mark Draycott and Charlie Mpi’s first goal for the club, Hungerford added a second through Draycott after the break to move in to fifth place in the table.
Hungerford now have a week without league action as they go to Chalfont St Peter in the First Qualifying Round of the FA Cup on Saturday with Tuesday night set aside for a possible replay.
