HUNGERFORD go into tonight FA Trophy replay at Banbury United with manager Bobby Wilkinson considering giving Alan O’Brien, Jon Boardman and Scott Rees starts as his side pursues a trip to St Neots Town in the next round.

Banbury claimed a goal-less draw at Bulpit Lane on Saturday and Wilkinson thought they earned their second attempt.

“They did a good job on us,” he said, “They set out to keep us out and only made one chance in the first half.

“They had two good chances late on though, and could have snatched it. And their supporters were loud and proud and helped as well.

“But we can’t miss our chances again as we did on Saturday,” he added, “and we’re going there to win.”

Rees missed Saturday’s first game after being injured in training while Boardman and O’Brien have been longer-term absentees with O’Brien tip-toeing back into the side in recent games.

“I’m thinking of taking a gamble with ‘Boards’ and Scott Rees, “ said Wilkinson, “and Alan is looking fit now.”

Banbury will be without two members of Saturday’s squad with Charlie Wise and Louis Joyce ruled out.

The winners will bank £2,700 and go to St Neots on November 14.

are also in cup action tonight at Oxford City Nomads in the Hellenic League's Perpetua Press Floodlit Cup.
