Hungerford out to hold the spot
They currently hold down the final play-off berth with a five point advantage over North Leigh, the team they entertain in their final league outing on April 28, and manager Bobby Wilkinson expects the race to "go right down to the wire."
"North Leigh are the in-form side," he said, "I think they will win their two games before we play them, so it is up to us to get the points we need."
Wilkinson has given his side an easier time of things at training recently, and it has paid off. "They've worked really hard all season and training is usually very intensive.
"But we have given them a couple of nights off and last week we only trained for 45 minutes at keep-ball and so on. We did that and we went to Halesowen and were much fresher than them."
Midfielder Ryan Crockford went off with a 'dead leg' at Halesowen, but Wilkinson hopes he will be fit for the Paulton trip while skipper Matt Day completes his three-match ban in that game and will return for the journey to Bideford the following week.
