Two new faces at Bulpit Lane
It's been a busy couple of weeks on the pitch for Hungerford Town and the Crusaders have also made progress off it, welcoming two new signings.
Danny Robinson's side swooped to sign box to box midfielder Luke Delaney from Wessex League side Shaftesbury.
Delaney came through the ranks at League Two side Wallsall before moving to Nuneaton in the Conference North while still a teenager.
Since then, the midfielder has had stints at AFC Hinckley, Lichfield and Poole Town and bolsters Robinson's options in the middle of the park following the departure of long-serving Callum Willmoth.
The Crusaders also added Dylan Adjei-Hersey, who signed on an initial one month loan deal from AFC Wimbledon.
Comfortable on the wing or at wing-back, the 20-year-old has featured three times for the Dons and also has National League South experience following a recent spell at Eastbourne Borough.
That would suggest the youngster can plug a couple of holes for the Crusaders, who have operated with out-and-out wingers and wing-backs at various times this season.
And boss Danny Robinson welcomed both his new additions ahead of a succession of crucial games in the fight for National League South survival.
"We know we're in a relegation dogfight and we've got a fantastic crop of players," he said.
"We're always looking to improve the squad and we think we've done that with the two new lads, who strengthen us in areas that needed strengthening.
"It's a massive period ahead for this football club."
Hungerford now face two testing away games in succession, travelling to Eastbourne Borough on Saturday before taking on Concord Rangers on Tuesday night.
