Hungerford Town's game with Braintree is postponed after positive coronavirus case within squad
Hungerford Town’s Vanarama National League South match with Braintree Town at Bulpit Lane on Saturday is postponed due to a positive coronavirus case within the home side’s camp.
The Crusaders were heading into the game off the back of an impressive 2-1 away win at Dorking Wanderers on Monday.
A statement on the club’s Twitter account said: “Our game against Braintree Town this Saturday has been postponed due to a positive Covid-19 case within our squad.
“This has been confirmed with the league medical officer and we've been instructed to postpone. Apologies to our fans and everyone at Braintree Town.”
A new date for the fixture has yet to be announced.
