Inspired by Olympic medalists the Brownlee brothers? Take up triathlon

The club started its junior triathlon training last month, after new coach, Stewart Towler, came on board alongside coaches Chris Treacher and Gavin Mclaughlin.
They opened the doors on August 18, offering regular training and coaching, with places for eight triathlon juniors to be part of the squad.
Several new athletes turned up, alongside existing Team Kennet junior triathletes, to participate in a 90-minute session of tristar triathlon.
Stewart will now take swimming sessions once a week, while club chairman, Nick Bull, will coach middle distance running on Monday evenings.
The club has had 58 enquiries to join within the last three weeks. The junior section of the Athletics team has 120 7-11 year-olds, and a waiting list of nearly 60.
Jess Harrison, who is a life member of the club, finished ninth in the Olympic Triathlon.
Team Kennet will be organising and running three key events within the School Games network, to promote and recruit new members to the sport, starting in November with the Indoor sports hall championships.
