Inspired by Wiggo? Why not try cycling
The one-day course, on August 29th, is open to boys and girls of all standards, from those who are hoping to be the next member of Team GB, to those who simply want to improve their cycling skills.
The course will be run by fully qualified British Cycling coaches and Young Volunteers, and is exactly the same type of course where double gold-medallist Laura Trott (as well as many others in the current GB squad) started her cycling career.
Participants will need to bring their own bicycle (of any sort, but with two working brakes; i.e. no BMX) and helmet, and will receive tuition on a series of different skills and techniques throughout the day.
The cost has been subsidised to just £15 for the day and spaces are limited to just 20 children.
The course is being run in conjunction with West Berkshire Council and Parkwood Leisure.
