Key clashes for local pair
Falkland and Thatcham take on the sides immediately above them in relegation battles
BOTTOM of the table Falkland and Thatcham take on the sides immediately above them in their respective tables in key relegation battles on Saturday.
Falkland travel to Hertfordshire to take on Radlett with only two points separating the teams, but another 15 dividing them from a safety spot in Division One of the Home Counties Premier League.
Thatcham are six points behind Fleet at the foot of the Thames Valley League's top flight and they go to the Hampshire club also needing a win to kick-start their survival campaign.
Falkland will travel without James Morris, Steve Pope and Ollie Green, but call in Theo Cooke and James Theunissen for his first senior appearance of the season.
They also hope to have Hamnpshire's Hamza Riazuddin back in action. Riazuddin is due to act as 12th man for England in their third test with Sri Lanke at the Rose Bowl until Friday.
"Radlett are like us and haven't had a good start," said Falkland skipper George Trewby.
"We need a win to really kick-start our season now."
Thatcham call in Paul Jenkins, Matt Denness and Jack Young to their side for the match at Fleet.
