Turbulent Tadley have more mixed results over Easter weekend

Tadley Calleva bounced back from a humbling defeat at home to Cobham with an impressive win on the road against Frimley Green.

The Tadders were well below their best at Barlows Park on Good Friday as they were thrashed 4-0 by mid-table Cobham.

The hosts hardly created anything and were behind after 11 minutes when Ben Senior scored from close range following a header across the face of goal.

Taldey were a little unfortunate in the build up the second as the referee awarded Cobham a corner despite the fact the initial header had cannoned off the post without touching a home defender.

From the resulting set piece, the influential Sheridan rose highest and headed home to make it 2-0 despite the best efforts of goalkeeper James Andrews.

Goalscorer Senior went in goal midway through the second half following an injury to Pickford but it remained one-way traffic as Cobham went 3-0 up with a quarter of an hour left to play when skipper Tom Walsh was caught napping and attacking full-back Ashby Charles stole in to score.

Charles had his second and Cobham's fourth in added time as Tadley's miserable home form continued.

However Tadley hit back at bottom side Frimley Green on Easter Monday, winning 3-1 thanks to goals from Ben Wright, Alex Fragata and a first in yellow for Argjent Ahmetaj.

Tadley are eighth in the Combined Counties Premier Division South table ahead of a trip to fourth placed Abbey Rangers.
