Superb ladies are unbeatable

Newbury and Thatcham Hockey Club enjoyed a memorable return to action after most of the teams had two weeks off, winning half of their 12 games and losing just two.

The ladies teams were unbeaten across the board, Gemma Goss and Hannah Jones scoring as the first team drew 2-2 with Wallingford.

The result leaves Newbury and Thatcham in ninth in the South Central Women's Division 1 North table ahead of a trip to mid table Staines this weekend.
