Newbury all changed for new season

Rajeev Hanabe, John Duncan, Simon Holland, Tony Chesters, Nick Ferguson and Richard Jones are among those to miss out, but Newbury go into their opening game with Burnham II at Northcroft better prepared than most having seen some pre-league action on the track.
"We had a good opening game with Falkland," said skipper Charlie Anstey, "starting sooner than most. We then had a game with Hungerford, but bowled them out for only 70 so did not get much batting practice.
"Burnham may come racing out of the blocks on Saturday," he added, "but I don't think they have had a game yet."
Newbury call in Simon Digweed after a good season with the seconds last term and the experienced Heath Messer and Nick Fitzwilliam also come into a side that will include 16-year old fast bowler Sharif Ahmadzai.
"It will be good if we can get off to a winning start," said Anstey, "but I won't worry too much if we do lose.
"Last season we lost our opening two games and still went on to win the league."
