Newbury Racecourse win annual golf competition

The fourth annual Lee Frame Memorial Triangular Match was this year won by the hosts

NEWBURY RACECOURSE won the fourth annual Lee Frame Memorial Triangular Match after hosting this year's competition.

The tournament is played in memory of the young local golfer who died four years ago at the age of 18.

The top amateur player was a member and champion at the Racecourse, Donnington Valley and Donnington Grove and the memorial match sees three members of each club team up.

The Racecourse team beat Donnington Grove by a single point to claim the trophy with the Valley team third.
