Newbury warm up at the cup double

They fell behind after 12 minutes when Liam Alleyne’s effort was turned into his own goal by Curtis Angell but got back on terms just before the break when Chris Collin beat thre offside trap to score.
Bracknell were back in front after the break when Steve Nebbett scored, but Newbury should have tied it up when Angell was brought down by Harry Brown but Ben McCready missed the resulting penalty.
Angell made up for his earlier misfotrune when he burst through to net from an acute angle and force the tie into extra-time when Kalief Madden struck twice to take Newbury through.
Newbury re in league action on Tuesday night when Wokingham and Emmbrook visit Faraday Road for a 7.45pm kick-off.
