Oktoberfest returns to Newbury Racecourse as part of BetVictor flat season finale

The legendary German festival, Oktoberfest, returns to Newbury Racecourse during the BetVictor Flat Season Finale on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th October to conclude the flat racing season in style.

Newbury Racecourse will transform into a traditional Bavarian party for the weekend, with top quality racing on the track – including two Group 3 races – complemented by an immersive Oktoberfest experience off it.

Racegoers – who are encouraged to attend in their finest lederhosen - can raise a stein to mark the end of the flat season with the Racecourse’s Dubai Duty Free Grandstand becoming a celebration of Bavarian culture, complete with Bierkeller, themed food including bratwurst and pretzels and oompah bands.

Access to the themed celebrations is included with both Grandstand and Premier Enclosure tickets and all the on-site bars will be serving the Racecourse’s official Oktoberfest beer, Hoofmeister, named following a recent social media competition.
