Paggies Bar reach Berks & Bucks final as Brad Pagliaroli scores hat-trick in 3-2 home win over LA Micro
Paggies Bar have reached the final of the Berks & Bucks Sunday Cup final after a 3-2 win over LA Micro at Henwick.
Paggies striker Brad Pagliaroli scored a hat-trick for his side as the progressed into the final on Sunday, March 13, where they’ll play FC Bapco at Beaconsfield.
Meanwhile, fellow Sunday League Premier Division side Woolton Hill Argyle are into the quarter-final of the Hampshire Cup Sunday Vase after a 3-1 win away to White Horse.
Argyle opened the scoring during the early stages when Danny Field played a floating ball over the top of the defence to James Pye, who slotted the ball past the goal keeper.
They doubled their lead shortly after when Liam Headd found space at the edge of the penalty area and fired a powerful effort into the bottom-right corner.
The away side made it three after the break when Headd found teammate Pye with a cross and the forward once again found the back of the net.
White Horse did, however, pull one back from the penalty area, but Woolton Hill held their lead and have reached the last-eight.
They will play the winners of Hamble Spitfires or Queens Head at home in the quarter-final on March 6.
In the only Premier Division game of the weekend, OLA Prestige secured their fourth win of the campaign when they beat AFC Hermitage 2-1 away from home.
Meanwhile, in Division 1, Black Horse moved up to eighth in the table after a 5-0 win over Furze Bush Inn and Elm Park Athletic secured a shock 2-1 win over second-place Cold Ash.
The White Hart Barbarians secured a comfortable 6-1 win over Newbury Bootleggers to reach the final of the Vic French Cup.
They will play either NWX FC or Brimpton Rangers in the final.
