Promotion chasers run in nine tries
They were too strong up front for the visitors and scored nine tries, two of them from number eight Rob Stapley. He was on the mark twice as Redingensians romped into a 21-0 lead in as many minutes with Aaron Hopkins the other scorer and Guy Swadling converting all three.
But Jevon Marsh added the only other score before the break although Swadling was on target within a minute of the second period getting under way. Owen Root, Marsh and Mark Odejobe added further tries with Swadling’s boot taking the score to the half-century.
Blues kept going and number eight Paul Jones netted a late try, although there was still time for substitute Connor Stapley to wrap it up for the home side.
