Retired star will lead out teams when former clubs clash at the Madejski Stadium
ROYALS and Sheffield United will pay tribute to Chris Armstrong when the teams meet at Madejski Stadium on Easter Monday.
Armstrong retired from professional football last month, after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in December 2009, and the game will give supporters from both sides their chance to show appreciation for the 28-year old, who was a fans' favourite for both clubs.
Armstrong will be invited to lead the teams onto the pitch just before kick off, where he will receive framed autographed shirts from both clubs. A collection will be made in aid of the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre.
