Royals bring a side to Hungerford




Hectic pre-season action for local Evo Stik Leaguers

HUNGERFORD TOWN will play a Reading XI in an extra pre-season game to be staged at Bulpit Lane on Friday evening.

Reading reserve team coach Chris Cummins will bring a side for a 7.30pm kick to complete a busy week for Hungerford.

They are also at home to Blue Square South Basingstoke Town on Thursday evening and on Monday night had a game at Wantage Town.

Thatcham Town could also see action three times this week. They entertain an Aldershot Town XI at Waterside Park on Wednesday night, and on Friday play Wessex League Totton and Eling in the Linden Homes Trophy at AFC Totton.

The winners will face either the hosts or Bemerton heath Harlequins on Sunday, kick off 3pm with the losers meeting at the same venue at 11.30am that day.
