Royals snap up Cox again

Cox, now 27, moves for an undisclosed fee thought to be in excess of £500,000 after being deemed to be surplus to requirements following the £5 million arrival from Peterborough of Britt Assombalonga from Peterborough.
Cox has agreed a two-year to return to the club where he began as an academy scholar, going on to enjoy several loan spells before moving to Swindon, having made little mark on Royals’ first team squad.
“I still know a lot of the players here so bedding in shouldn't be too hard for me,” said Cox. “ I’m delighted to be here and I can't wait to get started again.”
