Sidecar pair out in front





Lawrence and Roger Lovelock of Marlborough scored a double win to bag 50 points after claming pole position in qualifying and going on to win a three-crw bout for top spot in the opening race on Saturday.
They made the decisive break just as the 10-lap race looked like gong the distance, and moved ahead on lap seven to win by a 2.4 seconds margin.
Sunday’s 14-lap race again saw Lovelock and Lawrence out in front, and despite some early pressure they built a healthy lead and took the flag six seconds in the clear.
Lawrence and Lovelock now tae a 46-point advantage into the next races at Snetterton from May 25-27.
