Sport in Pictures: Some of the best images from sport in West Berkshire

Despite a number of sports being affected by the weather over the weekend, some teams were in action in West Berkshire.

In the Vanarama National League South, Hungerford Town picked up another victory as they beat Maidstone United 3-2 at Bulpit Lane.

A hat-trick from Crusaders striker Ryan Seager, including a goal in second-half stoppage time, ensured the home side secured all three points.

Meanwhile, in the Hellenic League Division 2 South, Kintbury Rangers overcame local rivals Hungerford Town Swifts as they won 3-1 at home.

Kintbury's Luke Polding was amongst the goalscorers as he converted a penalty to give Rangers the three points in the derby.

As a result of the win, they remain in fourth place in the table.

In the men's hockey, Newbury & Thatcham 2nd lost 2-0 at home to Eastcote 2nd.

Meanwhile, the 3rd XI played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with Buckingham 1st at Henwick, which included two goals from Ed Langdon.

Andy Hastings scored the only goal for the 5th team as they drew 1-1 with Maidenhead 4th.
