LEARN MOREDespite the wet conditions putting a stop to some of the sporting fixtures in West Berkshire, there were still some events on over the weekend.

In the Newbury Sunday League, Taste of England move top of the Premier Division after they beat Thatcham Tornadoes 4-1 at Henwick.
The win has taken them two points clear of Bucklebury in what was the only top division game of the weekend.
Paggies Bar, however, were in Berks & Bucks Sunday Cup action and they secured their place in the semi-final of the competition.
The Premier Division side beat FC Bentons 4-3, with goals from Aaron Voller (2) and Brad Pagliaroli as well as an own-goal sending them through.
Elsewhere, a number of rugby teams made their return to competitive action after the Christmas period.
In the Tribute Berks, Bucks & Oxon Premier, Hungerford met Tadley and the latter came away with the points after a 10-17 victory.
The win for Tadley has seen them move up to second in the table, while Hungerford are down in eighth position.
In the same division, Aldermaston beat Abingdon 6-0.
