Hungerford Town returned to Vanarama National League South action on Saturday and they settled for a 1-1 draw with Slough Town at Bulpit Lane.
Tom Derry put the visitors ahead after 68 minutes, but a 93rd minute equaliser from George Smith ensured that the Crusaders picked up a point.
The Newbury Sunday League had another busy schedule over the weekend, with teams playing in both the Premier Division and Division 1.
At Henwick, Woolton Hill Argyle secured a 5-1 win away to Cottage Inn, while Bucklebury beat Paggies Bar 2-1.
In rugby, Hungerford made their long-awaited return to action.
However, they slipped to a 10-40 defeat to Slough in the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Premier division.
Competitive hockey returned for Newbury & Thatcham as the ladies fourth team secured a 2-0 win against Wallingford 5th.
There was a mixture of results across the board for all of the teams at the club.
Elsewhere, the Newbury Netball League finally kicked off their competitive league with teams competing in the Premier Division, Division 1 and Division 2.
