Sport once again dominated the weekend schedule in West Berkshire as many of our local teams competed in matches.

At Bulpit Lane, Hungerford Town suffered heartbreak as the bowed out of the Emirates FA Cup when they lost 2-1 to Bromley.
The Crusaders were bidding to reach the first round of the competition for the first time in 42 years, but they were denied the chance to make history by the National League side.
In the Thames Valley Premier League, Mortimer secured a 1-0 win over local rivals Burghfield.
The win handed Mortimer their second win of the league season.
There were a number of Newbury & Thatcham hockey teams in action over the weekend.
The men's 4th hosted Windsor at Trinity School and the two sides played out a thrilling 2-2 draw.
There were a mixed set of results for the other Newbury teams, with plenty of hockey being played.
Elsewhere, a full schedule of Netball took place in the Newbury Netball League.
There was also a number of games taking place in the Newbury Sunday League.
Although there were no league games, teams competed in cup fixtures.
NWX FC managed to secure a 5-1 win over Cold Ash in the Vic French Cup.
