Stoppage time goals deflate margin in top six clash
Shaftesbury 4 Tadley Calleva 5
TADLEY continue to hold out hopes of a top three finish in the Wessex League’s first division after Saturday’s goal feast against one of the sides above them in the table.
Tadley were coasting at 5-2 up going into stoppage time, but an extended section saw the home side score twice to make the scoreline look closer than it should have been.
Brett Denham led the way with a hat-trick, Scott Kinge and Andrew Charsley adding the other goals with Mark Ford (2), Syzmon Matuzewski and Rob Hatchard scoring for Shaftesbury.
