Tadley secure home tie in FA Vase

Difficult trip for Hungerford if they survive FA Trophy replay

TADLEY CALLEVA have earned a home tie in the Second Round of the FA Vase after Haywards Heath Town came out of the hat at Wembley.

The Southern Combination League side - from a division lower than the Littlehampton team beaten by Tadley on Saturday - won through with a single goal win over Calleva’s Wessex League rivals Alton Town on Saturday.

The tie will be played at Barlows Park on Saturday, November 21.

Hungerford Town’s ‘reward’ if they get through Tuesday night’s FA Trophy replay at Banbury United will be a Second Qualifying Round trip into Cambridgeshire to face Evo Stik League Southern Premier Division rivals St Neots Town on November 14.

The draw made at Wembley Stadium will see Hungerford face a side they met in the league at Bulpit Lane on September 19 when they shared the goals in a 3-3 draw.
