Thatcham Bowling Club member qualifies for National Champions

It means that Kozlowski has made it to both the outdoor and indoor national championships this year, having won the National Indoors Fours Championship in February as a member of the West Berks IBC team alongside Fred Brown, Keith Lavery and Sandy Steele.
In the county two-wood final stages at Three Mile Cross, Kozlowski scored wins over Morland’s Mick Linn of Morland in the last 16 and Keith Carter of Shrivenham in the quarter-final.
The semi-final saw him 4-10 down to Wokingham’s Clive Tarran but he stepped up a gear to win 14-10 and he will now face Didcot’s Dale Hall in the final at Desborough on August 5 with both finalists representing Berkshire at Worthing.
Thatcham’s Bob Kent won through to the quarter-finals of the same competition and Liam Stacey got into the semi-finals.
Kozlowski also cleared another round of the National Champion of Champions competition following a 21-6 win over Robert Taylor of the Royal Household BC and he will face Colin Staples of Ashford BC from Middlesex in the fourth round.
