Thatcham Bowling Club side promoted

In the final game, against Three Mile Cross, Thatcham brought in another maximum 14 points.
The scores were; Jeff Caddy, Graham Bradley, Bob Kent and Brian Lawrence 22–12, Bill Kingham, Brian Shipp, Ray Bailey and Len Davis 22–11; Lawrence Cox, Bill Dines, Tony Folkard and Roger Dear 23–14; Mike Blizzard, Dave Louis, Mike Bartlett and Jim Wood 30–16.
Thatcham will be in the final play-off against Sunningdale on 18 August at Suttons BC, when the overall Berkshire Division 3 winner will be decided.
