Thatcham dish out thrashing to Woodford

Town manager Scott Tarr handed a full debut to 16-year-old Peter Raines, who rewarded his boss with a goal in the second half.
Ben McCready, who recently transferred to Thatcham from Newbury, produced a man of the match performance with a hat trick of goals.
While a brace from Jack Coventry and goals from Liam Painter Danny Langford secured the emphatic victory for Town.
The result leaves the Kingfishers thirteen points above the drop zone, while Woodford remain rooted to the bottom of the table with no points.
Newbury were also celebrating at the weekend following a 4-2 win at home to Reading town.
However there were disappointing results for Lambourn Sports, who suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to Carterton, while Hungerford lost 2-0 away at Taunton Town.
Goals from Craig Herrold and Carl Cliff Brown secured the victory for the Somerset side, with the visitor’s producing little in the way of meaningful chances.
Despite the defeat, Hungerford side remain top of The Evo-Stik Division One South and West, however second place, Poole Town, and third place, Swindon Supermarine, both have four games in hand over the West Berkshire side.
