Tadley have final outing before Vase cracker

THATCHAM TOWN have confirmed that the club has submitted its application to return to the Evo Stik League Southern, as long as the team can finish in a promotion place in the Hellenic League’s Premier Division this term.

Winning the title would do that, and Thatcham will be grateful to return to league duty after successive weekends on cup quests and recent sigign Shane Cooper-Clark will also be grateful to make his first appearance in Town colours since signing from Bracknell Town.

“It’s been frustrating for him,” said co-manager Gareth Thomas, “He’s been here a month and hasn’t played a game yet!”

TADLEY CALLEVA warm up for next weekend’s club history-making FA Vase Third Round home with Newport IoW by taking mon second in the tab,el US Portsmouth in the Wessex League at Barlows Park on Saturday.

Manager Danny Dolan is hoping to field close to the side he hopes to take into action in the Vase tie, with Grant Powel, Scott Kinge and Tolu Sotonye all fit for duty.
