THATCHAM twice saw leads scrubbed out as Ascot snatched a point against the Hellenic League leaders.

Town went ahead after 11 minutes when Mark Hughs headed home an Adam Morris corner but Ascot pulled level on the half-hour through Joe Grant.

Town restored their advantage 20 minutes from time through substitute Josh Helmore, but Ascot denied the visitors full points when Danny Lachacz pulled down Grant and David Pitt scored from the spot.

TADLEY had to settle for a Wessex League point as New Milton came from behind to claim a share of the spoils.

James Tennant put Tadley ahead in the 32nd minute and Brett Denham was close to adding a second before the break.

The woodwork also came to Milton’s rescue in the second period, but they Shane Sheridan controlled well before firing home the leveller with 20 minutes to go.
