THATCHAM ‘S potentially potent strike force drew a blank as they slipped down the Hellenic League Premier Division table into sixth spot.

Jon Bennett, Josh Helmore and Tom Melledew all wasted good chances before the break while Ardley’s Jacob Daffern and Ade Talabi also went close.

Josh Baines hit the bar and Shane Cooper’ Clark failed to mark his debut as a substitute when he out a good chance wide as Thatcham had to settle for a point in advantage Tuesday night’s home game with Highworth Town.
