Hungerford face two tough games in the space of three days

HUNGERFORD TOWN will revert to experience when they face two major tests in the space of three days.

They go to league rivals St Neots Town on Saturday in the FA Trophy and on Monday face second-in-the table Redditch United at Bulpit Lane.

With money and points on offer in the respective games, manager Bobby Wilkinson will consider shuffling his squad fr the two games, but will resist the call of pitching in the academy youngsters who helped Hungerford

into the next round of the Red Insure League Cup on Monday with that thrilling comeback against North Leigh.

“It’s got to be the toughest weekend we’ve had,” said Wilkinson. “But these games are why you love managing a club like this.”

Wilkinson has a full strength squad available to him after Gary Horgan, Matt Collins and Alan O’Brien all came through the North Leigh game, while St Neots are also likely to use their squad with a midweek trip to Poole Town looming.
