Trowbridge starter for Blues in new campaign




Opening day fixtures produce away day for most

NEWBURY BLUES will kick off their South West One East campaign next season with a trip to Trowbridge.
Relegated Oxford Harlequins will return to the division, which starts on Saturday, September 5.
Also in the division are Swanage ansd Wareham, promoted from Southern Counties South, and High Wycombe up from Southern Counties North and who provide Blues’ first opponents at Monks Lane on September 12 before Newbury can get in a late summer trip to the seaside at Swanage on September 19.
Thatcham also trave on their first day of action on September 12 when they head to Bicester in Southern Counties North before taking their home to against Bletchley the following week, while Tadley Tigers’ return to the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Premier Division sees them kick off at Alchester on September 12 with a first home game against Chesham the following week.
Hungerford are in the same division and go to Gosford All Blacks to start and then to Wheatley before having their first home game on September 26 against Milton Keynes.
