Vase road reaches Sussex for Tadley Calleva
Littlehampton await visitors on their First Round Proper debut
TADLEY CALLEVA head to West Sussex on Saturday for their first ever game in the First Round Proper of the FA Vase.
They take on reigning Sussex County - now Southern Combination League - champions Littlehampton Town with manager Danny Dolan saying: “We have nothing to lose. They are a league above us and on paper, should beat us. But we go there on the back of a good win and have won five on the trot and conceded only one goal.
“Anything can happen in cup football, and we have nothing to fear.”
Tadley will be without their top marksman Brett Denham, who is spending six weeks in Australia, but Dolan hopes to have Tolu Sotonye back from injury while skipepr Scott Kinge will definitely start.
Tuesday night has been set aside for a possible replay at Barlows Park.
