Didcot's withdrawal hands Newbury a place in the next round - and another blanok Saturday

NEWBURY'S scheduled Berks and Bucks Intermediate Cup tie with Didcot Town Reserves at Faraday Road on Saturday has been called off after the visitors pulled out of the tie.

Didcot are unable to raise a side, handing Newbury a place in the next round. But it is too late to re-arrange a league game an Newbury will again be kicking their heels as they remain several games adrift of their rivals at the top of the Hellenic League Division One East table.

Lambourn Sports entertain Childrey United and Hungerford Reserves face Cookham Dean in the same competition, both at home, while Thatcham Reserves travel to Didcot Casuals.
