West Berkshire's ladies winter series returns with thrilling round after break

The Ladies’ 2022 Winter Series has recommenced after the mid-winter break at West Berkshire Golf Club with Gale McAuley winning Round 9 with 33 points.

Renee Wheeler was second with 30 and Tina Mulford third with 26.

Wheeler went one better a few days later to win Round 10 with 30 points while Brackenbury was second on 29 and Mulford third on 24.

Nathan Keep started the competitive season in fine style by winning the Men's Saturday stableford with 44 points.

Steve Fisher was a single point behind in second place and Paul Beake third on 41.

The team of Pete Dye, Jimmy Green, Chris Ward and Joe Burke won a men’s winter fun competition with a score of 53 while Mark Brind, Liam McCullough, Sean Webb and Sam Belcher were second with 55.

Four teams returned 56 with Tony Atkins, Mark Charlton, Kevin Good and Ian Boyd taking third place on countback.
