Team Kennet member Zoe Allen claims silver medal at South of England Indoor Championships

Team Kennet’s Zoe Allen competed in the under-15 age group in the South of England Indoor Championships at the Weekend at Lee Valley.

After throwing 10.11m in the shot put, Allen secured a silver medal.

Also at the Championships, Claire McGonnell (under 15) came 7th in the shot with 7.46m and she came 11th overall in the Long Jump with 4.22.

Allen took part in the Track 200m heat to finish 6th with a time of 30.42.

Elsewhere, under-17 athlete George Down came 7th in the long jump with a new club record of 6m 10cm.
