The A34 near East Ilsley has re-opened this morning (Wednesday), following an earlier, multi-vehicle collision.

All lanes of the A34 have since been re-opened, after the collision at around 7.50am blocked the road, eight miles northbound of East Ilsley.

South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) were called at 7.50am, to a collision involving four vehicles.

Three patients were assessed at the scene by paramedics, but none required hospital treatment.

Heavy traffic remains in the area with congestion to the A4/Bath Road junction.

Queuing traffic northbound on the A34 was earlier reported, with severe delays and congestion to the Chieveley/M4 intersection, and during this morning's rush hour.
